A Very Good+ Book in a Very Good Pictorial Dust Jacket, Unclipped ($5.95). Previously Owned by Hugo McPherson, Professor of Literature at McGill and Early Proponent of Atwood's Works; FFEP Bears His Name in His Hand, Dated 1971. Book is moderately shelf worn with a few bumps to extremities. Text block is toned with some soiling and foxing. Other than McPherson's name and date, text is free from marking. Binding is tight but cocked toward rear board. Iconic Charles Patcher dust jacket presents well despite flaws. Spine is sunned. Shelf wear has bumped and creased extremities, especially tail and crown. A small loss is present to rear panel. Hardcover. Small Octavo. 281pp. Atwood's First Novel.
