Welcome to Laureate Fine Books

We have two brick and mortar locations in Poultney and Dorset, Vermont. The Poultney location strives to be a typical New England secondhand bookshop with large, well-organized sections of quality used and out-of-print volumes. Our new store-front in Dorset features a curated selection of collectible and antiquarian volumes with an emphasis on literary first editions, finely-bound volumes, and important works in the history of ideas. We hope you will make the trip to either or both locations and give us to opportunity to find the perfect volumes for you and yours.

Feedback

Ryan and Rachel are my go-to "book guys." They're kind, fun, funny, and great at what they do. They've helped me track down some hard to find gems and favorites, even pinging me when they find something not on my list that seems like it might be up my alley. Shipping is always fast & well-packaged. I can't recommend Laureate enough.

Laureate Fine Books has helped me grow my collection of rare/collectible titles for a little over a year now. Specifically, in sourcing hard-to-find titles which I have been seeking out for the longest time, thank you so much as ever Rachel & Ryan!!
