Previously owned by a binder who made the case for it's protection. Papers from binder detailing conversation between he and client he received the piece from included. Book is considered to be the first shape book published and would be the first of several similar books Prang published, all with a moral or religious undertone. Gorgeous piece of book history.

Scattered staining noted to first two pages, as well as some toning and foxing throughout. Pages are intact and complete with original sewn leaves
