Letters of Emily Dickinson [Complete in Two Volumes]

Laid in to this volume is an outstanding hand-written letter by Russell S. Smith to a Miss Kesselring. Smith is returning the set of First Edition Letters of Emily Dickinson to Miss Kesselring, emphasizing their great utility in his Masters thesis at Brown in which he compiled an early bibliography of Dickinson's work. Though unpublished, Smith's bibliography was acknowledged and praised by Thomas H. Johnson in his introduction to the Harvard Belknap 1958 edition of The Letters of Emily Dickinson.
